LAS MADERAS EN LA CONSTRUCCION NAVAL. APORTES AL CONOCIMIENTO DE LA FRAGATA "25 DE MAYO".

RESUMEN:
Con el propósito de contrastar hipótesis referidas a la
autenticidad de los restos recuperados en las cercanías de Dársena
Norte del Puerto de Bs.As y asignados a la fragata " 25 de Mayo",
nave insignia del Alte Brown durante la guerra contra el Imperio del Brasil,
fueron analizados par su identificación, restos de maderas desde
un punto de vista anatómico estructural. Paralelamente se hizo
un relevamiento documental para determinar el posible lugar de construcción
de la fragata.
Las materias primas utilizadas corresponden en general a especies del
Viejo mundo y comunes en la fabricación naval, abonando la hipótesis
de que se trate de esta embarcación y que su lugar de construcción
haya sido los astilleros del norte de España.
SUMMARY:
With the purpose of contrasting hypothesis referred to the authenticity
of the remains recovered in the proximities of Dársena Norte of
the Port of Bs.As and assigned to the frigate 25 of May", ship badge
of the Alte Brown during the war against the Empire of the Brazil, they
were analyzed even their identification, remains of wood from a structural
anatomical point of view. Parallelly a documental report was made to determine
the possible place of construction of the frigate.
The matters used cousins correspond in general to species of the Old world
and common in the naval production, paying the hypothesis that it is this
craft and that their construction place has been the navies of the north
of Spain.
